MapGap
Promote MapGap as a Whop affiliate
MapGap is sold on Whop, and Whop affiliates can earn a commission on sales they refer. This page covers how to sign up, what the product actually does, and copy you can paste.
How to become an affiliate
- Sign in to Whop (you need a Whop account in good standing and must be 18 or older, per Whop's affiliate terms).
- Open Affiliates in the Whop sidebar, go to the Affiliate marketplace, find MapGap, and click Become affiliate. Or open the MapGap page on Whop.
- Click View assets and copy your affiliate link. Use the exact link Whop gives you. It carries your username, and Whop can only credit sales that come through it.
- Share it where people who fit the description below will see it, with a clear note that you earn a commission.
Commission
MapGap is set to pay Whop global affiliates 30% of each sale (checked in Whop's product settings on 2026-10-31). The product is a $9.99 one-time purchase, so there is no recurring commission. Whop tracks referrals and pays affiliates itself, and per Whop's docs there is a 30-day wait between the purchase and the payout. Rates can change; the rate Whop shows you at the time of purchase is the one that applies.
Rules that come from Whop
- Say near your link that you earn a commission (Whop's terms reference FTC endorsement guidelines).
- Don't present yourself as the seller. MapGap is sold and supported by Canal Web Co.
- Don't run paid search ads on "Whop", "Whop discount", "Whop coupon" or misspellings without Whop's written approval.
- Read the full Whop affiliate terms.
What MapGap does
- A paste-in worksheet: the user types their Google Business Profile categories and review count, plus those of up to five competitors they already see.
- Shows categories competitors use that the user doesn't (missing-category sheet, CSV after purchase), a review-velocity target over about 90 days, and five short reply templates to copy and edit.
- After purchase, a competitor set can be saved in the browser or exported as JSON and loaded again later.
- Runs in the browser. No Google Maps or Places data pull, no listing edits, no auto-replies.
- $9.99 one-time. There's a preview before purchase.
Who it's for
- Local business owners who manage their own Google Business Profile and want a structured comparison against nearby competitors.
- Freelancers who do small GBP checkups for local clients and want a repeatable worksheet.
Who it's not for
- Anyone expecting automatic data from Google (you type the inputs).
- Anyone wanting guaranteed map-pack rankings. MapGap makes no ranking or earnings claims.
- Agencies that need a full rank-tracking tool.
